 How This Website Began

This website is dedicated to
Honoring Our American Fire Fighters

Why we created this website
We found a wonderful way to honor Fire Fighters by donating two very special posters
to our local fire departments: "Our Heroes" and
"Family Day at the Fire House"
We wanted to let the Fire Fighters know how much they were appreciated.

Simple Life Rules
We live by a simple life rule:
"If you can think of something good to do in this world and you have the means...Do It!"
Here's one we like that's not so simple:  "Think of an idea that will change our world...and put it into action."  We hope this website is one of those ideas.

Where the posters came from
Both posters are based on paintings by our father, Mort Meskin.  He was a Golden Age Comic Book Artist.  Ten years ago he left behind an amazing artistic legacy that we are still exploring.

How we came to donate these posters
When we found these two paintings among our Dad's many works of art we decided to use them to do some good.   The paintings glowed with his deep respect for Fire Fighters everywhere, for their service to the community and for their wonderful camaraderie as a team of highly-trained and dedicated individuals who go into harm's way to protect us all.

How you can honor your local Fire Fighters
We thought other people might like to purchase these posters to honor their local Fire Fighters in their communities.  Send us a photo to display proudly in our Gallery of Honor.

When you purchase a poster
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THESE POSTERS WITHOUT EXCEPTION  WILL BE USED FOR DONATIONS TO FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND CHARITIES
It is our way to honor both
our Dad and
Our American Fire Fighters

"The risks are plain.  When a man becomes a fireman, his act of bravery has already been accomplished." Chief Edward Croaker, Engine 75 NYC, Circa 1900
